Police are urgently appealing for the public’s help to locate a vulnerable 20-year-old man, Tyla Darik, who has been reported missing from Ramsgate.

Tyla was last seen at approximately 6:45pm on Sunday evening in the Haine Road area. Concerns are growing for his welfare, with officers describing him as vulnerable and noting that he has difficulty communicating with others and is likely to be alone.

He is described as being around 5ft 5in tall and of mixed race. At the time of his disappearance, Tyla was wearing only a black t-shirt, grey jogging bottoms, and white trainers. He was also carrying a bag slung around his shoulders and neck.

Tyla is known to frequent areas in Broadstairs and is said to enjoy visiting Westwood Cross, and officers are urging anyone in these areas to keep an eye out.

A police spokesperson said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Tyla’s safety and are asking anyone who sees him or has information about where he might be to get in touch with us immediately.”
