Police and concerned family members are appealing to the public to help locate 16-year-old Amina, who has been reported missing from Daventry, Northamptonshire. She was last seen at 12am on Tuesday, 22 April 2025, and there is growing concern for her welfare.
Amina is described as being 5ft 7in tall, of slim build, with brown eyes and medium to long straightened dark red hair. At the time she went missing, she was wearing a black Adidas jacket with white stripes down both arms and grey flared trousers.
Authorities say she may be vulnerable and are urging anyone who has seen Amina, or has any information about her whereabouts, to call 999 immediately. Even small details may help piece together her movements.
A spokesperson for Northamptonshire Police said:
“We are extremely concerned for Amina’s welfare and are doing everything we can to locate her. We urge anyone who may have seen her or knows anything about where she might be to get in touch urgently.”
The case is being supported by Missing Adults & Children in the UK and the Missing Persons Team (MPT), who stress that “we never give up on a missing person.”
Members of the public with information are asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101, quoting the relevant incident reference, or call 999 for immediate sightings.
