Urgent Appeal: Newham College Seeks Help Locating Missing Non-Verbal Student Yaseen Robin

Newham College and the Metropolitan Police are appealing for urgent public assistance in locating Yaseen Robin, a vulnerable 19-year-old student missing since Wednesday, May 21.

Yaseen was last seen around 3 PM near Green Street and Upton Park. He is described as non-verbal and lives with autism spectrum disorder, learning difficulties, and mental health challenges. College staff have said they are “deeply concerned” for his safety.

Description of Missing Student

  • Name: Yaseen Robin
  • Age: 19
  • Height: 5’9″
  • Build: Medium
  • Clothing: Black trousers, green t-shirt, black coat, black trainers with no socks
  • Communication: Non-verbal, but understands Italian, some Bengali, and English

A spokesperson from Newham College said:

“Yaseen is a much-loved member of our college community, and we are deeply concerned for his wellbeing. We urge anyone who has seen him to come forward.”
