Horror in Hornchurch: Woman, 40, Fatally Stabbed at Home
A 40-year-old woman, Agne Druskienea, was brutally stabbed to death in her Hornchurch home in the early hours of October 18. Emergency services found her injured on Cranham Road just after 1am, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her family have been informed and are receiving support from specialist officers.
Agne’s husband, 43-year-old Augustinas Druskis, also from Cranham Road, has been charged with her murder. He is due to appear at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on October 20.
Greenwich Stabbing: Woman in 30s Attacked in Domestic Incident
Just hours later, a woman in her 30s was stabbed in her Greenwich home on Reminder Lane. Police were called to the scene shortly after 5.20pm following reports of a domestic dispute.
The injured woman suffered stab wounds and head injuries but was rushed to hospital in a stable condition. Police say her injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing.
Investigations are ongoing and no arrests have been made yet.
