Two Suspected Drug Dealers Arrested at Margate House

Two individuals have been arrested and suspected class A drugs seized following police action in Margate.

On the evening of Wednesday, October 2, 2024, officers visited a property on Addington Street as part of their duties. During the visit, they observed a man acting suspiciously.

Upon detaining the suspect, officers conducted a search and recovered cannabis, scales, money, and several mobile phones. A bag suspected to contain heroin was also seized.

A 37-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a class A drug with intent to supply, while a 44-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug.

Both individuals remain in custody as further enquiries continue.
