Two arrests made after fatal hit and run on Northamptonshire’s A43. Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit has detained a man and a woman following the tragic death of a man in his 40s.
Deadly Crash Between Rockingham Road and A14
The fatal collision happened sometime between 7pm on Wednesday, October 15, and 6:50am the next morning. The victim was discovered on the southbound A43, between Rockingham Road and Junction 7 of the A14.
A member of the public spotted the man lying in undergrowth and alerted police around 8am on October 16.
Two Arrested – One Released, One on Bail
A 41-year-old woman and a 42-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and failing to stop. The woman has been released without further action. The man remains on police bail as investigations continue.
