In a disturbing incident in the heart of the East End, two men are currently fighting for their lives following a late-night stabbing. Police rushed to the scene on East Ferry Road near the junction with Manchester Road, E14, at approximately 1:15 am this morning (Saturday, June 1st) in response to reports of the violent attack.
Upon arrival, officers from the Met Police discovered two victims, aged 45 and 37, who had sustained stab wounds. Both individuals were promptly transported to a nearby hospital for urgent medical attention and are currently in a non-life-threatening condition.
However, the situation took an unexpected turn as both victims were subsequently arrested on suspicion of affray. The circumstances surrounding their involvement in the incident remain unclear at this time.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police stated, “Police were called at 1:15 am on Saturday, June 1st, to a stabbing in East Ferry Road near the junction with Manchester Road, E14. Officers attended along with the London Ambulance Service (LAS).
The spokesperson continued, “Any witnesses yet to speak with police are asked to call 101 and quote CAD 476/01jun.
