Two Men face Prison after series of knife point robberies

Two males have been convicted of a series of knifepoint robberies in Edgware. They are Abdulahi Sharif Mohamed, 20, of Riverdene, Edgware and a 17-year-old male from Wembley. Mohamed pleaded guilty at Harrow Crown Court on Monday, 16 July, to robbing three victims on 8 May, 17 May and 20 May. The victim in the 8 May robbery was threatened at knife-point. The victim in the 20 May robbery was beaten and needed hospital treatment. The Teenager who can be named for legal reason’s pleaded guilty at the same hearing to the offences on 8 May and 17 May, in addition to another offence on 17 May in which the victim was threatened with a knife. This series of robberies took place in a pathway in Edgware between Farm Road and Brook Avenue. The victims were men aged between 25 and 50 who were robbed of phones and wallets as they walked home from the tube station. The pair will be sentenced at Harrow Crown Court on 22 August
