Two Drivers Killed in A15 Lorry Collision Near Caenby Corner

Lincolnshire Police have confirmed that two men have tragically died following a collision involving two lorries on the A15 near Caenby Corner on the morning of Christmas Eve.

Details of the Incident

The collision, which occurred close to the Snitterby junction at around 9:33am, involved a Volvo lorry and a Scania lorry. Initial reports suggested that a car was also involved, but police have since clarified that only the two lorries were part of the incident.

The drivers of both vehicles, aged 51, were sadly pronounced dead at the scene. One of the men was from the Barnsley area, while the other was from Cleethorpes.

Road Closure and Appeal for Witnesses

The A15 remains closed, and police have warned that the road is likely to stay shut for some time as investigations continue. Motorists are being urged to avoid the area and seek alternative routes.
