Two arrests over Neasden stabbing

Detectives are appealing for information and witnesses after a stabbing in Neasden. Police were called at approximately 10.45pm on Saturday, 9 February, to reports of a man stabbed in Cairnfield Avenue, NW2. Officers and London Ambulance Service attended. The 23-year-old victim was taken to a central London hospital, where he remains in a critical condition. A 29-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder – he remains in custody. A 24-year-old woman was also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender – she also remains in custody. Enquiries into the circumstances continue, led by officers from the North West Command Unit.
