Two Arrested following Tesco Burglary

Two suspected thieves have been arrested following a burglary at an Ashford supermarket. Kent Police was called at 1.21am on Saturday 12 May to a report of a burglary at Tesco Express in Mill Court, Ashford. Officers attended and pursued two men on foot. A quantity of cigarettes, alcohol and scratchcards were recovered by officers in the nearby area. A 36-year-old man of no fixed address and an 18-year-old man from Ashford were subsequently arrested on suspicion of burglary. Both men were released on police bail until 6 June pending further enquiries.
