Two arrested following SEROCU investigation into 3kg of ecstasy tablets dubbed ‘Super Pills’

Two arrested following SEROCU investigation into 3kg of ecstasy tablets dubbed ‘Super Pills’ SENT OUT ON BEHALF OF SEROCU. PLEASE DIRECT ANY QUERIES TO THEM. The South East Regional Organised Crime Unit (SEROCU) today (10/5) executed a warrant in Portsmouth in relation to 3.6kg of ecstasy tablets and two men were arrested. A 64-year-old man and a 24-year-old man, both from Portsmouth have been arrested on suspicion of one count possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A (ecstasy). They remain in police custody. The men were arrested as part of an ongoing investigation by SEROCU, at around 12.25pm earlier today (10/5) officers executed the warrant under Section 8 of PACE in Cuthbert Road, Fratton. The warrant is in relation to an investigation into supply of controlled drugs across the region. Det Insp Jenny Olden, leading the investigation from SEROCU, said: “Today’s warrant is just another part of our continued push to stop the supply of controlled drugs in the South East region. “These ecstasy tablets have been recently dubbed ‘Super Pills’ due to them being even more potent and resulting in deaths. “The potential street value of these can go into millions of pounds.
