Two Arrested After Stabbing in Ashford Town Centre

 

Two teenagers have been arrested after a stabbing in Ashford town centre left two men injured.

Emergency services were called to Bank Street at 7.51pm on Wednesday, 26 March, following reports of a serious assault.

Police and paramedics arrived to find two men with injuries consistent with stab wounds. They were rushed to a local hospital, where their injuries were later confirmed as not life-threatening.

Following swift enquiries, two 17-year-old boys were arrested later that evening on suspicion of assault. They currently remain in police custody as investigations continue.

A spokesperson for Kent Police said:

“We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information to come forward. Officers remain in the area carrying out further enquiries to establish the full circumstances.”
