Two 12 Year Old Boys Arrested In Wolverhampton Murder Investigation

West Midlands Police have confirmed that Detectives investigating the murder of 19-year-old Shawn Seesahai in Wolverhampton have made two arrests.

Shawn sadly died after being stabbed on open land off Laburnum Road, East Park just before 8.30pm on Monday.

Two 12-year-old boys were arrested last night from their home addresses on suspicion of murder and remain in police custody.

We have increased dedicated patrols in the area as we understand this incident will have caused deep concern in the local community.

DCI Dave Sanders, from the homicide team, said: “Our thoughts remain with Shawn’s family, who have been fully updated with this latest development.

“Our investigation is moving at pace and we continue to encourage anyone with information to contact us.”
