A casualty on the tracks was reported on the Southeastern line at approximately 9.40am today, September 16. Emergency services, including officers and crews from the London Ambulance Service, attended the scene.
A person was transported to hospital for treatment, although their condition remains unknown at this time. The incident is not being treated as suspicious.
Disruption to Train Services
All lines between england/lewisham/”>Lewisham and Barnehurst are currently closed while the situation is managed. As a result, trains between London and Dartford via Bexleyheath may experience delays, cancellations, or diversions via Sidcup or Woolwich Arsenal. Additionally, all services between Gravesend and London Victoria are being diverted via Sidcup.
Disruption is anticipated to last until approximately 1pm.

A spokesperson for British Transport Police stated: “Officers were called to Welling railway station at around 9.40am today (16 September) following reports of a casualty on the tracks. Paramedics also attended, and a person has been taken to hospital with injuries that are still being assessed. The incident is not being treated as suspicious.”
