Tragic Motorcycle Accidents Claim Two Lives in Co Roscommon and Co Kerry
Devastating Collisions Claim Lives In Co Louth And Co Limerick

In a somber turn of events, two separate road crashes in Co Roscommon and Co Kerry have left two motorcyclists dead. The first incident unfolded on the R357 between Shannonbridge and Ballinasloe in Cloneish, Co Roscommon. A collision occurred around 17.00 yesterday between a motorcycle, driven by a man in his early 30s, and a car. The motorcyclist, sadly, succumbed to his injuries after being rushed to the hospital. Fortunately, no other individuals were harmed in this unfortunate incident.

In a separate occurrence in Moyvane North, Listowel, Co Kerry, a second motorcyclist, aged in his 40s, lost his life following a collision with a van at approximately 19.00. Tragically, he was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the van, a man in his 70s, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was promptly taken to University Hospital Kerry for treatment.

The area around Moyvane North remains under investigation as Garda Forensic Collision Investigators conduct a thorough technical examination. The road is presently closed, and Gardaí in Listowel are urging witnesses to come forward. Individuals who were in the vicinity of Moyvane North between 18.15 and 19.15 yesterday, especially those with camera footage, including dash-cam recordings, are requested to provide this evidence to the authorities.
