The three children who tragically lost their lives in a devastating house fire in East Ham have been named as their grieving parents paid an emotional tribute to them.

The blaze broke out in a terraced property on Napier Road just after 8.30am on Saturday, 13 July. Despite the swift response of emergency services, seven-year-old Muhammad Hanan Malik, 11-year-old Aayat Malik, and 13-year-old Nakash Malik could not be saved.

Their parents, Khurram Malik and Naumana Gul Khan, expressed their heartbreak in a heartfelt statement: “Your lives were a blessing, your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure. May you rest in peace in God’s heaven.”

The Metropolitan Police and the London Fire Brigade are jointly investigating the cause of the fire. A spokesperson for the police confirmed that, “At this stage, there is no evidence to indicate suspicious circumstances.

The community in East Ham has been deeply affected by the tragedy, with many local residents and school friends leaving flowers and messages of condolence outside the family’s home. A vigil is planned for later this week to honor the memory of Muhammad, Aayat, and Nakash.

The investigation continues, and authorities have urged anyone with information to come forward. Meanwhile, the community rallies around the grieving family, offering support and comfort during this incredibly difficult time.
