St Pancras Assault: Tommy Robinson Flees UK After Station Incident Caught on Video

Far-right activist Tommy Robinson has left the UK after an assault at St Pancras International that was captured on video and widely shared on social media.

British Transport Police (BTP) confirmed officers were called to the station at 8.40pm on Monday, 28 July, after reports of an assault.

A man was found seriously injured and taken to hospital, where his injuries were assessed as serious but not life-threatening.

Footage circulating online appears to show Robinson walking past a man lying face down on the ground, before shouting:

“He come at me!”

Further clips appear to show Robinson filming himself inside the station and boarding an airport shuttle in Tenerife, with one video captioned:

“Spotted Tommy Robinson getting on my flight this morning.”

BTP investigators have confirmed that the suspect, a 42-year-old man from Bedfordshire, boarded a flight out of the UK in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Detectives are now working to locate and bring him into custody for questioning.

A British Transport Police spokesperson said:

“British Transport Police were called to St Pancras station just after 8.40pm on Monday (28 July) following reports of an assault.

Officers attended and a man was taken to hospital with serious injuries, which are not thought to be life threatening.

Overnight the investigation has been ongoing and officers have been making arrest enquiries.

Officers have confirmed that the suspect, a 42-year-old man from Bedfordshire, boarded a flight out of the country in the early hours of this morning. Detectives are continuing to work closely to progress the investigation and bring him into custody for questioning.”
