DJ Tim Westwood Faces Serious Sex Crime Allegations
Tim Westwood, the once high-profile DJ, has been charged by the Metropolitan Police following a lengthy probe. The 68-year-old Westminster resident now faces a series of grave charges:
- Four counts of rape
- Nine counts of indecent assault
- Two counts of sexual assault
Allegations Span Decades and Multiple Victims
The outstanding case involves seven women and incidents dating back to the early 1980s. Police say the offences happened in various parts of London and beyond:
- 1983: 17-year-old girl indecently assaulted in Fulham
- 1986: Woman in her 20s sexually assaulted in Vauxhall
- 1995-1996: 17-18-year-old woman raped and assaulted in London
- 2000-2001: Another 17-18-year-old woman raped and assaulted in London
- 2010: Woman in her 20s raped in London
- 2010: Woman in her 20s sexually assaulted in Stroud
- 2016: Woman in her 20s sexually assaulted in Finchley
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
Detective Superintendent Andy Furphy said: “It takes real courage to report these allegations. The women who have stepped forward have put their trust in us, and we continue to support them fully.”

Next Steps: Court Date Set
Westwood is scheduled to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 11 November.
