Three Women Arrested for Criminal Damage After Protest at Allianz House

Three women in their 20s have been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage following a protest at Allianz House on Gracechurch Street in central London.

The group of protesters, believed to be affiliated with Palestine Action, scaled the building earlier today and remained on the structure for several hours, drawing attention from passersby and prompting a police response.

The protest caused disruption in the area, with emergency services on site as officers worked to bring the situation under control.

All three women were detained at the scene and have since been taken into custody, where they remain as investigations continue.

A City of London Police spokesperson confirmed:

“Three women, all aged in their 20s, have been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage following a protest at Allianz House on Gracechurch Street. The individuals are currently in custody, and enquiries are ongoing.”

While the full details of the damage have not yet been disclosed, police have confirmed that an assessment is underway.

Palestine Action is known for its direct action campaigns targeting companies it accuses of supporting Israel’s military activities. The group has not yet issued an official statement regarding today’s incident.

Further updates are expected as the investigation progresses.
