Three Albanian men have been arrested after officers swooped on a massive £20 million cocaine haul in Dartford, Kent. The drugs, weighing in at 250kg, were seized from a lorry in a major crackdown on organised crime.
£20m Cocaine Seized in Dartford Sting
The arrests came courtesy of the London Organised Crime Partnership (OCP), a specialised task force made up of officers from the National Crime Agency and the Metropolitan Police. The suspects, all in their 30s, remain in custody and face questioning on suspicion of supplying Class A drugs.
Operation Targets Organised Crime
Andy Tickner from OCP said: “This is a significant seizure of cocaine and without my officers’ efforts to seize it, it would have been on the streets of our communities feeding addiction and leading to other serious offences.”
The haul represents one of the largest recent drug busts in the region, targeting criminal networks that flood UK streets with deadly Class A substances.
