Blazing Inferno Mobilises Dozens of Firefighters
The London Fire Brigade (LFB) scrambled ten fire engines and about 70 firefighters to tackle the early morning blaze on Maybury Close. The first alert came through at 5.19am on Monday, with crews rushing from Enfield, Edmonton, Chingford, Tottenham, Woodford, and southgate-wales/”>southgate/”>Southgate stations.
Roof and Second Floor Destroyed in Fiery Chaos
The fire devastated the roof and second floor of the block. Fourteen people had already fled the building before firefighters arrived. Two of LFB’s 32-metre turntable ladders pumped water onto the flames from above, while the Brigade’s Drone Team provided vital aerial footage to help control the situation.
Fire Under Control but Investigation Ongoing
