Emergency services are responding to a major incident after reports of a shooting on Upton Lane, Forest Gate, East London this afternoon.

London Ambulance Service Responds to Shooting in E7

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson confirmed:

“We were called at 2.51pm today (29 April) to reports of a shooting on Upton Lane, E7.

We sent ambulance crews, a paramedic from our tactical response unit, and dispatched London’s Air Ambulance.

We treated three patients at the scene. One person was taken as a priority to a major trauma centre by road, and two other patients were transported to hospital.”

Significant Police and Emergency Presence

Witnesses report a heavy police presence in the area, with multiple emergency vehicles seen arriving at the scene. Upton Lane has been cordoned off as officers investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The conditions of the injured patients have not yet been confirmed, and police are urging members of the public to avoid the area.
