Ashford police officers have arrested three men and seized a range of drugs, cash, and a weapon following a routine patrol near the town centre. The arrests were made on Wednesday, 30 October, after officers became suspicious of a vehicle in the Jemmett Road area.

When officers approached the vehicle and spoke with the occupants, they conducted searches, uncovering bags containing a large amount of cannabis and a sum of cash. Further inquiries led police to conduct additional searches at a property in Ashford, where more cannabis, suspected class-A drugs, drug-dealing equipment, and a “zombie” knife were discovered and confiscated.
The three suspects, aged 26, 30, and 32, all from Ashford, were taken into custody. They were arrested on suspicion of possessing class B drugs with intent to supply. The 32-year-old man also faces charges of possessing an offensive weapon, while the 26-year-old suspect was additionally arrested on suspicion of drug driving, theft, and possessing class A drugs.
All three men have been released on bail pending further inquiries.
