Thousands in Cash and Drugs Seized in Peacehaven Raid

Jason Moore, 38, of Edith Avenue North in Peacehaven, has been remanded in custody after being accused of supplying Class A and B drugs in the town. His arrest took place on September 19, following an investigation by Eastbourne CID, with support from the Tactical Enforcement Unit (TEU).

TEU officers made the arrest at Moore’s residence at 7am, where they seized a significant amount of Class A and B drugs, including cocaine and cannabis, as well as medicinal products not authorised for general sale, and thousands of pounds in cash, including US dollars.

Moore has been charged with multiple offences, including being concerned in the supply of cocaine, possession with intent to supply Class A and B drugs, and the illegal sale of a medicinal product, namely Sildenafil.

He appeared before Brighton Magistrates’ Court on September 20 and was remanded in custody. His next court appearance is scheduled for October 18 at Lewes Crown Court.
