Detectives have made significant strides in the ongoing investigation into the tragic murder of George Eric Rogers from Enfield, with a third individual now facing charges in connection with the case.
Deeshon Dixon, 32, residing at Princes Avenue, N13, was formally charged with murder on Thursday, March 28, marking a pivotal development in the investigation.
Following his arrest, Dixon was remanded in custody pending further legal proceedings. He is scheduled to appear at Highbury Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, March 30, where the charges against him will be addressed.
The charges stem from an incident that shook the community, prompting a swift and thorough investigation by law enforcement authorities. The investigation was launched after police responded to a distress call at 19:21hrs on Friday, March 1, reporting an injured man in the communal area of flats in Lockhart Close, Enfield.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered a 66-year-old man suffering from stab wounds. Despite the valiant efforts of emergency responders, the victim tragically succumbed to his injuries on site.
