The family of a man from Basingstoke who was Murdered this week have paid tribute to him.

The body of Jason Williams of St Peter’s Road, was found in Russell Howard Park in Basingstoke shortly before 1.30am on Tuesday 20 February. The family has now issued an image of Mr Williams. His father, Victor Williams, said: “Jason will be sadly missed by his family.” Officers continue to carry out a number of enquiries in relation to the death. Two people, a 34-year-old man and a 37-year-old man, both from Basingstoke, were arrested on suspicion of murder. They remain in police custody after magistrates granted a warrant of further detention for 36 hours.
