The car was going at least 100 Miles an hour: Two Cut from Wreckage in Abbeywood Crash
Two men were cut free by firefighters from the London Fire Brigade in the early hours of Friday morning after a car ploughed into the £500,000 end of Terrace property on Beckett Close, Belvedere, sparking fears of a gas explosion had taken place.
Emergency services were called to Beckett Close at just after 4am following reports of a vehicle collision involving a Chrysler 300C, with persons possibly trapped inside the vehicle. Police have closed a large section of Abbey Road in both directions to assist in the extrication of those involved and to make the property and area safe.
A black Tesla model Y also belonging to the home owner who are understood to have escape without injury has also been totally written off after the out of control hit it whilst parked.
One Man who lives in Beckett Closed who was woken by the loud bang ran out and rendered first air to the men advising them to stay in the car because of their injuries.

Residents nearby reported hearing a loud bang after the vehicle sped past their property doing at least 100 miles an hour. An other resident described the crash as sounding “like a gas explosion.” “I thought something had exploded, it shook the windows,” one local told UK News in Pictures at the scene this morning.

Major Response from Police, Fire, and Paramedics
Metropolitan Police, London Fire Brigade, and HART paramedics from the London Ambulance Service rushed to the scene to free the trapped men by removing the doors and making the vehicles involved

The London Fire Brigade’s Specialist Fire Rescue Unit was deployed to cut the occupants free from the vehicle. The individuals involved were then treated by Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) paramedics strapped to spinal boards and immobilised before being transported to a major trauma centre in London
A Tesla also belonging to the home owner has also been destroyed in the crash and is likely to be totally written off.
The road remains closed in both directions as do a number of surrounding roads

Emergency engineers have called to assess a potential gas pipe rupture, which may have been damaged during the impact of the horror collision
Investigation Underway
Police have cordoned off the area while engineers assess the structural integrity of the building and confirm whether the gas supply was compromised. The cause of the crash has not yet been established.
