Harry Abbott, 19, has been named as the victim in a fatal stabbing in Leeds. The teenager was knifed during a violent scuffle in Seacroft on Wednesday, 8 October.
Stabbed and Dumped in Harehills
The attack happened around 11:50am on Parkside View, Seacroft. Abbott was stabbed in an altercation before being driven to a property on St Wilfrid’s Crescent, Harehills, where he was dumped on a driveway. Despite urgent medical care, he was confirmed dead at the scene.
Multiple Arrests in Ongoing Murder Probe
- Three men aged 19, 22, and 27 are in custody, held on suspicion of aggravated burglary.
- A 21-year-old man was arrested for assisting an offender.
- An 18-year-old woman, initially arrested for murder, has been bailed pending further investigations.
Police Hunt Witnesses and Clues
Detectives from the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team are urging anyone who saw the incidents in Seacroft or Harehills around midday to come forward. They are also searching for information about a dark-coloured Ford Focus abandoned in Amberton Crescent, Gipton, at about 12:40pm the same day.
“We are continuing to appeal for anyone who witnessed either incident or who has information about the movements of the vehicle to contact us as soon as possible,” a West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said.
