Teenager from Kent Arrested over Southampton Boxer Murder

Detectives investigating the murder of Michael Freshwater have today (Saturday, May 7) made a further arrest. This is the ninth arrest. A 16-year-old boy from Kent is currently in police custody. Nine arrests have now been made as part of the investigation into the murder of Michael Freshwater. Michael’s body was found at an address in Westridge Road, Southampton just after 4.15pm on Friday, April 29. Police are continuing to appeal for information and would like to hear from anyone who may have information relating to this incident to contact us on 101 quoting Operation Windless.
