Detectives are urgently appealing for witnesses after a teenager was raped in Tunbridge Wells Common. The shocking attack took place between 8pm and 9pm on Saturday, 18 October 2025.
Grim Assault in Woodland Near Mount Ephraim
The victim, a teenage girl, was walking home along Victoria Road when a man approached her. They walked together towards Mount Ephraim before the suspect forced her into a wooded area near Molyneux Park Road. There, he issued threats and committed the assault.
Suspect Description & What Police Are Doing
- White male, mid-thirties, around 5ft 8in tall
- Dark hair tied in a bun, sporting a goatee beard and moustache
- Wearing a blue jacket and carrying an orange drawstring bag
- Riding a bicycle with thick tyres during the incident
Kent Police are hunting the attacker. Officers have launched forensic exams at the scene and are reviewing CCTV footage. They’re also conducting door-to-door enquiries and remain active in the area.
