Sussex Police are currently addressing a concerning video circulating on social media depicting an assault in Crawley.

Authorities responded to Southgate Skate Park on Southgate Avenue around 7 pm on April 17th after receiving reports of a 14-year-old girl being assaulted. The victim was subsequently hospitalized but has since been discharged.

A comprehensive investigation was promptly initiated. Three girls, aged 13 and 15 from Crawley, were apprehended on suspicion of assault and have been released on bail as inquiries continue.

Individuals who witnessed the incident or possessed mobile phone footage are encouraged to reach out to Sussex Police either online or by dialling 101, quoting serial number 1137 dated April 17th.
