A person has tragically died, and two others have been injured following an incident at the junction of Godstow Road and Harrow Manorway in Abbey Wood on the evening of Thursday, 5 December.

Emergency services, including ambulance crews, the Hazardous Area Response Team (HART), and an incident response officer, were dispatched to the scene shortly after 9:20 PM.

Details of the Incident
Two individuals were treated at the scene. One was taken to the hospital by a third party, while the other’s condition remains unknown. Sadly, a man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police Investigation
The Metropolitan Police confirmed that officers had initially attended the area as part of an investigation into a missing person. Upon arrival, they discovered a man who was unresponsive.
The death has been deemed non-suspicious, and efforts are ongoing to locate the deceased’s next of kin.
