A suspected drug dealer has been charged following a collision in Tunbridge Wells. At around 5pm on Saturday 13 April 2019, officers were on patrol in Kingswood Road when they spotted a suspicious BMW. The vehicle drove away at speed and it is alleged to have collided with some parked cars and a lamp post in Delves Avenue, where the driver left the scene on foot. Officers searching the area arrested Leutrim Citaku in some woodland near Forest Road, Hawkenbury. They also seized a quantity of cash. A package was retrieved from a front garden in Delves Avenue that was found to contain deals of suspected cocaine. Mr Citaku, 20, of Queripel Close, Tunbridge Wells was later charged with possession of cocaine with intent to supply, dangerous driving, driving without insurance and possession of a quantity of cash believed to be the proceeds of crime. He has been remanded to appear by video link before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Monday 15 April.
