Following a Thames Valley Police investigation, a man has been charged with attempted murder following an incident in Oxford.

Stewart Butler, aged 59, of Hawksmoor Road, Oxford, was charged on Monday evening (12/10) with a single count of attempted murder.

The charge is in relation to an incident which took place in Hawksmoor Road at 10.45pm on Sunday (11/10).

He is due to appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court today (13/10).
