Star-studded Lineup For Celebrity Antiques Road Trip Twelfth Series

BBC Two’s popular factual entertainment show, Celebrity Antiques Road Trip, returns for its twelfth series, boasting an impressive lineup of stars ready to hit the road in search of hidden treasures. The eclectic mix of celebrities includes Love Island winners, Strictly favorites, ’80s pop royalty, and the infamous ‘The GC.’

Swapping the sun-soaked villa for antique valuations, Love Island champions Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti embark on the adventure. The nation’s favorite couple of 2022 will compete head-to-head to uncover the most intriguing antiques and achieve the highest profits at auction.

Reflecting on the experience, Davide Sanclimenti shared, “It was such a pleasure to be part of Celebrity Antiques Road Trip – from the nostalgic feeling of putting myself into an antique car, through to the fun side of buying and selling antiques.”

Joining the Love Island champions on this antique road trip are Strictly professional Amy Dowden, former contestant Sara Davies, reality star Gemma Collins with her friend Melvin Odoom, and 1980s popstar pals Samantha Fox and Sinitta.

Sinitta expressed her delight in teaming up with Samantha Fox, saying, “This was the perfect opportunity to spend time together after nearly forty years, and we laughed non-stop like time had stood still. It felt so cool driving through the country lanes like pop music’s answer to Thelma and Louise!”

The 20-episode series kicks off on Tuesday, 10 October, featuring husband-and-wife comedy duo Paul Merton and Suki Webster. The celebrity duos, including news anchor siblings Geeta and Krishnan Guru-Murthy, will travel across the UK in classic cars, hunting for hidden treasures.

Accompanied by antiques experts such as Serhat Ahmet, Charles Hanson, and Natasha Raskin Sharp, the celebrities will compete to auction off their finds for the most money. The series promises a delightful mix of entertainment and exploration.

Celebrity Antiques Road Trip, produced by STV Studios, has been a staple of BBC Two’s and iPlayer’s autumn schedule since 2011. The twelfth series maintains the show’s tradition of combining celebrity charm with the thrill of antique discoveries.
