Stabbing on Busy Leyton High Road Leaves One Injured

A man in his 40s was stabbed in broad daylight on Leyton High Road on Sunday afternoon (11 May), prompting a swift response from the Metropolitan Police and the London Ambulance Service.

Police were called to the scene at 16:06hrs, where they found a 46-year-old man with stab injuries. He was taken to hospital for treatment.

Doctors confirmed that his injuries are non-life-threatening and non-life-changing, according to a police spokesperson.

Road Closures and Investigation

Leyton High Road was closed in both directions while emergency services dealt with the incident, causing traffic disruption for several hours. The road has since reopened to traffic.

As of now, no arrests have been made, and an investigation is ongoing.

Witness Appeal

Police are urging anyone who witnessed the stabbing or who has CCTV or dashcam footage from the area around 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM to come forward.
