Stabbing Incident in Southwark Leads to Hospitalisation and Arrests

Police and emergency services were called to an incident in Cooks Road, SE17, at approximately 4:30 PM on Friday, 26 July, following reports of a fight that resulted in two teenagers being stabbed.

Upon arrival, officers from the Metropolitan Police along with ambulance staff found two males with stab wounds. An 18-year-old was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, and his condition is currently being assessed by medical professionals. The second victim, a 17-year-old male, sustained less severe injuries and was also transported to the hospital for treatment. Following his medical evaluation, he was arrested in connection with the incident.

The families of both teenagers have been notified of the situation as the investigation continues. The inquiry is being led by CID officers who oversee the Southwark and Lambeth areas.
