“Good Boss” and “Smiling Soul”: Tributes Pour In

Cleaner Rosemary George, who worked at The Trademark Group, described Terry McMillan as a “good boss, a fair man” and said Brendan was a fit and enthusiastic young man who had played rugby in the US after university.

“There are usually eight or nine people who work in the office. It’s not very big. It’s very sad.”

Old Colfeians Rugby Club, where Brendan played, released a moving tribute:

“Brendan lit up every room he walked into… forever smiling, always cracking a joke and always full of life.
We are also mourning the loss of his beloved father, Terry, a long-time supporter and sponsor of the club.”

England rugby star Vicky Fleetwood was among those to pay tribute online.

Paramedics Tried to Save Victims at the Scene

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson confirmed that four people were treated at the scene:

“Despite the best efforts of our teams, one man was pronounced dead at the scene. Three others were taken to major trauma centres.”

Eyewitness Mario Sergio, who filmed emergency crews working on one victim, said:

“The medics were giving him CPR. I was hoping he’d pull through, but it didn’t look good.”

Ongoing Investigation and Community Reassurance

Detective Chief Superintendent Emma Bond said:

“Our thoughts are first and foremost with the family and friends of the victims of this tragic incident.
We do not believe this was terrorism-related and there is no wider risk to the public.”

A second crime scene was established at a nearby hotel, where the suspect was later found, though police confirmed he was not a guest at the premises.
