Train passengers across Kent and South East London are being advised to plan ahead as engineering works will disrupt services this Sunday, January 5.
Southeastern has confirmed that several routes will face cancellations, diversions, and replacement buses, affecting London, Swanley, Sevenoaks, Dartford, Canterbury, Ramsgate, and other areas.
No services will be affected on Saturday, January 4.
Below is a detailed breakdown of the changes:
Swanley and Sevenoaks
? Trains affected:
- London Victoria to Ashford International services will run only between Borough Green & Wrotham and Ashford International.
? Replacement buses will run between:
- Swanley and Borough Green & Wrotham, stopping at Otford only.
Lewisham and Dartford
? Trains affected:
- London Charing Cross to Sevenoaks services will not run.
- London Charing Cross to Dartford and Gravesend services will not run.
- Additional trains will run between London Bridge and Gravesend via Greenwich.
? Replacement buses will run between:
- Greenwich and Dartford via Sidcup, stopping at New Cross and all stations to Dartford.
- Lewisham and Orpington, stopping at all stations.
London Bridge & Charing Cross
? Trains affected:
- No trains will run to or from London Charing Cross, London Waterloo East, or London Cannon Street.
- London Charing Cross to Ramsgate and Dover Priory services via Tonbridge will be diverted to run from London Victoria.
- London Charing Cross to Hastings services will run to and from London Victoria.
- London Charing Cross to Sevenoaks via Grove Park will not run.
- London Cannon Street to Slade Green via Greenwich services will now run between London Bridge and Gravesend.
- London Charing Cross to Dartford or Gravesend via Sidcup services will not run.
? Trains still running normally:
- London Victoria to Dartford via Bexleyheath
- London Victoria to Orpington – extended to Sevenoaks, stopping at all stations.
Canterbury West, Deal, and Ramsgate
? Trains affected:
- London Charing Cross to Ramsgate services via Ashford International will only run between London Victoria and Canterbury West.
- London St Pancras International to Margate via Canterbury West will only run between London St Pancras International and Canterbury West.
- London St Pancras International to Ramsgate via Dover Priory will only run between London St Pancras International and Deal.
? Replacement buses will run between:
- Canterbury West and Margate, stopping at Thanet Parkway, Ramsgate, and Broadstairs.
- Canterbury West and Ramsgate, stopping at all stations.
- Deal and Ramsgate, stopping at Sandwich.
