Tragic Incident in South Ockendon

Emergency services rushed to Windstar Drive, South Ockendon, on the afternoon of Sunday 15 December 2024. Concerns had been raised over the welfare of Claire and Lincoln. Sadly, paramedics were unable to save Lincoln, who died at the scene. Claire was hospitalised and later arrested, appearing in court in April.

Family Praise Essex Police

Lincoln’s family thanked Essex Police for their unwavering support throughout the heartbreaking investigation. They singled out Detective Constable Keith Corry for his kindness and steady support.

“This has been the most painful chapter in our lives.” “We are grateful to the officers who treated us with compassion and dignity.” “Lincoln was the love of our lives, and we will carry his memory with us always.”

Detective Chief Inspector Alan Blakesley, head of the case, said,

“My thoughts throughout this investigation, and today, remain with Lincoln’s family and all those who knew and loved him.”
