Eyewitness Steve Davies, a resident living adjacent to the crash site, recounted the moments leading up to the incident, stating, “I heard a noise like an engine misfiring and cutting out followed by a sound like trees getting hit then a loud bang.” He expressed his shock upon realizing that it was a light aircraft that had crashed, highlighting the swift response of emergency services.

Fortunately, there were no other individuals aboard the aircraft at the time of the crash, sparing further casualties. The prompt action of emergency responders and the assistance rendered to the injured pilot have been commended by local residents.
