Six Teenage Boys Arrested for Mobile Phone Theft at Brent Cross Shopping Centre

Six teenage boys have been arrested following a theft at Brent Cross Shopping Centre, after Metropolitan Police responded quickly to the incident.

Officers were called at approximately 2:35 p.m. on Sunday, January 4, to reports that a group of teenagers had entered a shop in the shopping centre and stolen a large number of mobile phones.

 

Swift Police Response and Arrests

Upon arrival, officers quickly located and detained the suspects a short time after the robbery was reported.

The six suspects, all aged between 14 and 18, were arrested on suspicion of robbery and taken into custody, where they remain for questioning.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson confirmed:
“Our officers responded rapidly to the incident, leading to swift arrests. The suspects remain in custody as investigations continue.”

Ongoing Investigation

Police have yet to confirm if all stolen items have been recovered, and enquiries remain ongoing. Authorities are urging anyone with witness information to come forward.
