Shoplifter threatened Security with a syringe
Police would like to speak to this man about an attempted assault at the Co-Op in Twyford Avenue, Stamshaw, on Thursday, 27 July. Sometime between 6pm-6.30pm a suspected shoplifter ran out of the shop with goods, chased by a security guard. The security tried to detain the suspect who lunged at him a knife. The security guard managed to block the suspect who then threatened him with a syringe. The suspect dropped goods to the value of £75, then ran away. The security guard was not hurt in the incident.
