Officials have confirmed that the shooter responsible for the incident at former President Donald Trump’s rally in Butler County, Pennsylvania, is dead. The Secret Service has reported that they were the ones who neutralized the shooter, ensuring the safety of all attendees.
Footage from the event shows a body, believed to be that of the shooter, being carried out of the venue by emergency personnel. The swift response by the Secret Service was instrumental in preventing further harm during the chaotic scene.
In addition to the deceased shooter, one other person has been taken into custody. Authorities are investigating their potential involvement and any connection to the shooting.
The rally, held on Saturday afternoon, was abruptly disrupted when gunshots were fired. Former President Trump was seen grabbing his ear, with blood visible on his cheek. He was later taken to the hospital and is reported to be “fine,” according to his campaign.

The venue remains an active crime scene as law enforcement continues its investigation. Details about the shooter’s identity and motives have not yet been released.

Former Vice President Mike Pence and other political figures have expressed their support and concern for Trump. Pence posted on social media, “Karen and I are praying for President Trump and urge every American to join us.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) has also deployed agents to assist with the investigation. This is a developing story, and more information will be provided as it becomes available.
