Shakedown in Yarmouth after Man is arrested with a Stun gun

Armed Police on the Isle of Wight descended on Yarmouth last night (Sunday) following reports a man was armed with a stun-gun. Police rushed to The Bugle pub in Quay Street, just after 7.30pm, following a 999 call from a concerned member of the public. Officers arrested a 20 year-old man on suspicion of possessing a weapon for the discharge of a noxious liquid, gas or electrical incapacitation device. The local man remains in custody at Newport Police Station. Police also arrested a second man for obstructing Police.
