Serious multi vehicle collision closes M11 motorway
The M11 in Essex is closed southbound between J10 (near Duxford) and J8 (near London Stansted Airport) due to a serious multi-vehicle collision. Emergency services including Essex Police are among the emergency services in attendance.
Diverted traffic should follow the solid black square diversion symbol. Exit the M11 at J10 and follow the A505 towards Royston. Continue on the A505, and at the roundabout take the first exit onto the A10 to Royston. Continue on A10 through Buckland, Chipping and Buntingford to the roundabout with the A120. Take the first exit onto the A120 and continue through Little Hadham and rejoin the M11 southbound at J8.
Please allow extra time for your journey if you’re travelling in the area this evening. There are also long delays on the northbound carriageway as a result of this incident.
