Recycling Site Fire Extinguished in Tunbridge Wells

Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a fire at a recycling site at North Farm Lane, Tunbridge Wells, early on Sunday morning (4 May 2025).

Crews were alerted at 00:14 and two fire engines were quickly dispatched to the scene.

Firefighters, wearing personal protective equipment and breathing apparatus, used main jets to tackle and extinguish the blaze.

The fire was brought under control and fully extinguished by 1.47am

There were no reported injuries as a result of the incident.

The cause of the fire is not yet known and investigations are ongoing.
