CCTV Appeal Issued After Thefts at Tesco Supermarket in Rainham

Kent Police have released CCTV images of a man they wish to identify following a series of alleged thefts at a Tesco store in Rainham.

The incidents occurred between Thursday 3 April and Saturday 12 April 2025 at the Tesco supermarket on Courteney Road, Rainham. Items reportedly taken include multiple bottles of spirits, quantities of meat, and confectionery.

Investigators say they are keen to speak with the man pictured, as they believe he may have information that could help their enquiries.

Ongoing Investigation

Officers from Medway CID have been examining store CCTV footage and following up leads over the past weeks. The decision to release the images publicly follows attempts to identify the man through other means.

A spokesperson for Kent Police said:

“We are now in a position to release two images of a man who may be able to assist with our enquiries. We urge anyone who recognises him to get in touch.”
