Property stolen in a burglary in Monks Risborough

Thames Valley Police is releasing images of property stolen in a burglary in Monks Risborough. Between 5pm on Sunday 3 March and 2.45pm on Tuesday 5 March, the side window of a house in Burton Lane was forced open and a number of items were taken. Among the items stolen were a number of Olympic and Commonwealth medals, some of which are shown in these replica images. Investigating officer Detective Constable Francesca Keen, based at High Wycombe police station, said: “This offence has caused the victim to lose items of high sentimental value to them. Given the rarity of these medals I am hoping these images will jog someone’s memory and help return these to their rightful owner. “I am appealing to anyone who may work with precious metals who may have seen items like these offered to them, or anyone who may have spotted items like these advertised online, to come forward. “You can get in touch with us using our online form or by calling 101, quoting reference 43190068853. Alternatively, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
